Leverage Cast Members

Leverage is a hit television series featured on TNT. As of this writing, it is currently into its 4th season. The show revolves around five individuals, all with a special set of skills, which they use to help people who have been cheated in some way by the rich and powerful. The team is made up of "the brains", "the hacker", "the grifter", "the thief", and "the hitter."

Together, they come up with plans to get back what was taken away from their clients. Each person does their part to con the bad guys. Below are the cast members and their role on the team.

Timothy Hutton is a very well known actor who has been in several films. He plays the character, Nathan Ford, the brains behind each operation. When clients seek help from the Leverage crew, Nathan is the one they usually speak with first. He assesses their issues and then comes up with a plan of attack.

Of course, the fun comes from watching the plan unfold. There are usually many surprises and each plan doesn't always run smoothly so it's interesting to get to the end of each episode and learn how Nathan stayed 2 steps ahead.

One of Nathan's vices is alcohol, which he deals with in many of the episodes.

Gina Bellman is a New Zealand born British actress who plays the character, Sophie Devereaux. Sophie is the grifter and has a love for acting, although she is a much better grifter than a professional actress. She also remains mysterious about her background as no one really knows her true identity.

Sophie's role on the team is to portray different characters based on the situation. She is really the bulk of the con as she gets the bad guys to believe she is on their side. Sophie is also the go-to person when it comes to advice for running the cons.

Aldis Hodge is not only an actor but an artist as well. He designs watches, writes, and paints. He also plays the violin and attends the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, in between acting for Leverage. Aldis portrays the character, Alec Hardison. Alec is the hacker and is a genius when it comes to anything computer related.

His character can hack just about anything and his skills come in handy when the team needs to bypass tight security or needs information to use against the bad guys. Often times, he is also in the role of the grifter when needed.

Beth Riesgraf is an American actress who plays the character, Parker. Parker is the thief of the crew and has the gift of cracking into any safe and stealing just about anything without getting caught. Her character also likes to repel from tall buildings. Sometimes she has to play a grifter role and she doesn't like it. Parker doesn't do well with showing emotions and isn't much of a people person. However, it is funny to watch.

Christian Kane is an American actor as well as a singer/songwriter. Although he is probably more popularly known for his role on Leverage he will soon be well-known for his music as well. He is a country music singer and his first single "The House Rules" is moving up the country music charts. Christian plays the role of Eliot Spencer. Eliot is "the hitter" and does well at beating up the bad guys when they get in the way.

He is the muscle behind the crew and also does well with the grifter role when he has to. He is teamed up with Hardison on most missions.
